I am confused about flawed reasoning in general. What is the objective that needs to be sought?

Hi Umar, thanks for the question.

When we approach flawed reasoning, we want to find an answer choice that commits the same errors of reasoning and follows the same reasoning structure. This could be using quantifiers, sufficient/necessary statements, causal reasoning, etc.

For example: The passage might state

A -> B -> C

Therefore, C -> A

The correct answer choice must make this same error, even though it will use different topics and perhaps the items will be negated. The underlying structure must be the same.
