Hello @Edward-Wang,

I was able to eliminate A, B, and D fairly quickly, as they all match one of the three classes of plaintiffs mentioned on line 8. Each example would have a good chance of establishing standing.

This left me with C and E. After a closer look at C, there is a key word here that leads to its elimination: "recently." Consider line 17: "but in cases where the grave is ancient and located in an area where the community of Native Americans associated with the grave has not recently lived, they are less likely to be successful in this regard."

The tribe referred to in C may have moved, but they lived in that location recently. The lines I quoted above do not apply to them. We cannot conclude that they are unlikely to establish standing.

Even if we are unsure what "disparate" means (it just means different, I had to look it up), we know that it is difficult to establish standing for ancient burial sites. This is enough for us to select answer choice E.
