Other way

I know using the diagram of the former question would be a good way to save time. What if we got a mistake with the former question? Is there any way to figure this kind of problem out in another way but is also fast?

Hi Jingwenbb, thanks for the question.

You bring up a good point. Using previous work is a double-edged sword because it lets us go much faster than if we were to examine each question on its own merits, but on the other hand, we might be compounding previously made errors.

I really do recommend you use your previous work as more often than not, you will have an intuitive sense for if you are on the right track or whether you have erred. Making sure that you maintain good pace in games is critical and this is one of the most basic ways to do so.

Beyond this, you might want to look for some inference that would answer the question or just start testing answer choices right away. I would first take a glance at the answer choices and try to start with the one that seems most likely to be right. This comes mainly from intuition and a combination of the specific question vs rules. But this typically works better than going straight from A through E.

I hope this helps. Good luck with the rest of your games. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
