Which one of the following families could live in the house that is the farthest east?

Two Basic Scenarios ?

So I will preface this by saying I got all of these questions correct, however when I set this game up I basically diagrammed two scenarios; 1 where M is assumed to be in spot 3 and one where it was in spot 5. This allowed for some additional deductions and I was able to mostly breeze through the questions as a result. In the video explanation however, it looked like there was a master setup diagram but nothing else really from that. Is there anything 'wrong' with the strategy I used? Or does that just come down to personal preference and timing?

For a question like this one, it definitely comes down to personal preference and timing. When I did this problem, I also diagrammed the two scenarios that you mentioned, which allowed me to work through the questions quickly, so there is nothing wrong with your approach at all. Good job!
