Diagramming

For the last sentence in the question, shouldn't it be diagrammed as a compound statement? Since it is talking about icy surfaces and not being heavily pocketed? How can we just ignore the solid icy surfaces?

I think you guys are totally right that we cannot ignore the compound condition brought up in the last sentence of the passage.

Planetary bodies -some- solid icy surface AND not surface heavily pockmarked

It shouldn't be ignored for sure. However, I don't think it was in the explanation provided in this question.

Please let me know if we are on the same page concerning this question as I would happy to respond with an explanation. However, I believe the last statement you were referring to was diagrammed in the stimulus summary as you described.
