Sufficient vs Necessary

On my preliminary practice exam I struggled with Sufficient vs necessary & Cause and Effect questions. However these are not considered "question types" by the lesson. What are the most common question types where these questions show up so that I can focus my efforts on improving those two skills?

Hello @coopersherman,

Good point, there is no sufficient and necessary question type, nor is there a cause and effect question type. Rather, these are concepts that appear on a variety of questions.

For sufficient and necessary practice, I would focus on must be true, cannot be true, parallel reasoning, and principle questions.

I most often see cause and effect in strengthen and weaken questions. Concluding a cause and effect relationship from a correlation is also a common error in flawed reasoning questions.
