Summarizing the Difference

Can someone summarize (in a simple way) the difference between a strengthen with sufficient and strengthen with necessary and how to spot it correctly every time? (I know it is clearly separated here but in real LSAT conditions it would not be)

For Strengthen with sufficient look for word past tense("assumed") like.....which one of the following,if assumed/considered/....etc, _allows the conclusion to follow_
Even this is important "allows the conclusion to follow" becoz just assuming or considering one option ,you can allow( be sure) that conclusion follows.........which means it is sufficient, so strengthen with sufficient.

For necessary, look for present tense like 'assumption' as in,
which one of the following is the assumption that the argument depends upon
which one of the following is the assumption that the argument requires for the conclusion to be
properly drawn
and the the terms such as DEPENDS, REQUIRES,etc is also indicators which suggest it is required.i.e; it is necessary for conclusion (to follow)

Then you might be wondering about general strengthen question. I will tell you, its simple
General strengthen question includes simple sentences like
which one of the following strengthens the arguments
which one of the following most support to the argument the arguments

~I'm not an instructor, i just saw many questions, not being answered and many of my questions are not answered.
Just see the introduction video examples of this lesson .I just observed some question stems and was able to put this together.
@Mehran, if you are observing this please respond , many questions are not being answered
All the best LSAT test taker!

oh.....don't get me wrong, I'm not degrading the value/criticizing LSATMAX, there is a great content here only through which I could answer your question. This was one way of drawing attention. In various places you can find awesome explanation. Im just little disappointed that my Qs are nt being answered. By the way, I loved the techniques Mehran thought in quantifiers and Necessary and sufficient conditions lesson

None of my questions are answered either.

Hi all! Our apologies, truly. It seems this slipped through the cracks.

@Tejas has provided a fantastic breakdown of how to identify/differentiate these question types. I had not really given much attention myself to the tense of the word assumes prior to this but it does seem to be correct. I would pay greater attention however to the ideas of sufficiency and necessity brought forth in the actual question stems. As @Tejas said, depends, requires are all necessary terms. This would indicate strengthen with necessary premise. While the word "if" will come up in strengthen with sufficient premise questions.

The examples provided are all relevant and correct as well. Thank you very much @Tejas!!
