Hello @dianalazar,The rule in question is this: If Gina drives on Monday, then Jerry does not drive on Saturday.
Gm ---> not Js
Js ---> not Gm
B. "Gina drives on Monday and Jerry drives on Tuesday."
Gina on Monday means that Jerry cannot drive on Saturday. Therefore he must drive on Wednesday. This would force Jerry to drive two consecutive days (Tuesday and Wednesday), which is not permitted.
Answer choice C is not the same. I will explain.
C. "Gina drives on Monday and Jerry drives on Friday."
Again, Gina on Monday means that Jerry cannot drive on Saturday. You are right that this forces Jerry to drive on Wednesday. However, this was only a problem in answer choice B because Jerry is also driving on Tuesday! That is not the case in answer choice C, which is why there is no issue with consecutive driving days for Jerry.
