Question 3 Sentence 1

For the first sentence of question 3 ("climate and geology determine where human industry is established"), can any relationship be formed from this? For instance, can you say that HI --> C and G. Or is this not possible since climate and geology are very vague and we can't say that they are necessary for human industry to be established without knowing any specifics?

Hi, could I get an answer on this question? Thanks!

I reflexively diagrammed that sentence as well, but I wrote it out as:

C & G -> HI
NOT HI - NOT C or NOT G (the NOTs being crossed out terms)

Compounds require a reversal, negation, and change of "and" to "or" (or vice versa).

But once I got to the answers, it was fairly clear that it wasn't really pertinent to the answer choices.
