Valid Take?

"Since bison yield as much meat as cattle, and the natural prairie required neither pesticides, machinery, nor government subsidies, returning as much land as possible to an uncultivated state could restore biodiversity without a major decrease in meat production." I got this answer correct this time around. Last go around I had chosen A. " Would decrease only slightly" I got E which was the correct answer "significantly decreasing" In this scenario I am realizing when the stimulus says "Major decrease in meat production" the correct answer choice has language similar to the stimulus "significantly decreasing" is that a valid take away?

While the idea expressed in E of no significant decline is close to the passage than A's expression of a small decrease, A simply isn't what the passage said. The passage is about restoring the prairie, not going back to older ways of farming.
