Hi @YulissaCardoza,Happy to help!
We know that 'every' introduces a sufficient condition.
"Every dog that growled at me was a white poodle."
G --> WP
Not WP --> Not G
"Every white poodle I saw growled at me."
WP --> G
Not G --> Not WP
We are looking for the answer choice which must be true based on the above conditional logic.
Answer choice (C) states that no gray dogs growled at Elena.
We know that every dog that growled at Elena was a white poodle. The contrapositive of this tells us that, if the dog was not a white poodle, it did not growl at Elena.
Therefore, answer choice (C) must be true because a gray dog is not a white poodle; therefore, no gray dogs growled at Elena at the dog show.
Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
