I understand that: Option A was eliminated bcos it has L in slot 6 Option B was eliminated bcos it has F in slot 4 Option C was eliminated bcos it has G before H But am not clear as to why D was eliminated and why E is the correct answer.

Answer choice (D) was eliminated because it violates Rule 4: "If K views the site on day 4, L views the site on day 5."

This answer choice has K visiting the site on day 4, but L visiting the site on day 1. Therefore, this answer choice is incorrect.

Answer choice (E) is correct because this setup meets all of our conditions.

1: L 2: J 3: K 4: M 5: F 6: H 7: G

Rule 1 is met because F visits the site on day 5.

Rule 2 is met because L does not visit the site on day 4 or day 6; they visit the site on day 1.

Rule 3 does not apply because J does not view the site on day 1.

Rule 4 does not apply because K does not view the site on day 4.

Rule 5 is met because G views the site on day 7, following H's visit on day 6.
