Argument VS Conclusion

How can I distinguish the difference between and argument and a conclusion, or are the same thing?

If I recall, arguments are composed of Conclusions + Premises etc. So, they aren't exactly the same thing.
Perhaps put it like this:
Arguments have more than one statements
Conclusions is a singular sentence.

Hi @lizette,

Thanks for the question! As another poster mentioned, a conclusion is a subset of an argument. Arguments are made up of premises (statements that support the conclusion) and a conclusion (which is the final point that the argument is trying to make). So a conclusion is part of an argument. Arguments could theoretically just have one sentence, though, and conclusions could theoretically be spread into more than one sentence or only be part of one sentence, so I would be careful about distinguishing it based on sentences, though this may seem natural. It’s really more a conclusion is a singular idea that the argument ends in, whereas the argument usually consists of supporting one idea with multiple premises.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
