@Silvia, happy to help!

We are asked to finish the sentence: "Since it is important for long-distance runners to enter a race mentally refreshed..."

(B) suggests that we can complete this argument with: "unless they regularly train using associative strategies, long-distance runners should use dissociative strategies during races."

This is incorrect because the claim we are asked to finish is about how runners ENTER a race. (B) is about what runners do DURING races, so it is inconsistent with the argument we are setting up. Instead, we need an answer choice that will incorporate the information from the passage and tie it into a statement on how runners can prepare to enter a race mentally refreshed.

Does that make sense? Hope it helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
