Do people use different colors to do the problems when they're studying or during the actually test? What's the best practice? This is my first day of logic games and want to train myself to get into the best possible habit. Thanks

I wouldn't recommend using different colors. Since this is your first day, the best thing to do would be to start watching the different logic games lectures to see how to set up the various types of games. Then, start working on doing the games yourself. On test day, you'll just have your writing utensil and notepaper, so that's how you want to practice.
