Which one of the following statements most accurately characterizes a difference between the two passages?

Valid arguments

On the “it is cold” question, isn’t that not a flawed argument but rather an invalid argument?

Hi AndrewM, thanks for bringing this up.

As far as I am aware, we can use those terms interchangeably. An argument that is invalid is flawed and vice-versa.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, another question, is there a video explaining bizarro reasoning and the and the types of Bizzaro questions?

Can I get a link to a video or something to explain true v. False better?

Hi @AndrewM,

Thanks for your messages!

Bizarro questions are the same as regular logical reasoning questions in all ways except for the correct answer. For example, a bizarro must be true question might ask "each of the following must be true except..." You are then looking for the answer choice which does not have to be true based on the information provided in the passage.

You are using the same skills as you would for a regular logical reasoning question. It is just the answer that will be correct that changes.

Bizarro questions are inherently connected to the 'true v. false' diagram. Each of the yin/yang symbols represents a pair of opposites. Terms that are parallel to one another horizontally mean the same thing.

For example, if something "must be true," then it "cannot be false." If you have a bizarro question that asks "each of the following must be true except...", then you are looking for the answer choice which is not necessarily true.

This is definitely a helpful diagram to memorize for the LSAT as it helps with answering bizarro questions as you can just look for the opposite term as the correct answer.

Is there something to help me with conclusion spotting?
