Why is D correct if the stimulus says that it takes "three minutes to pop corn in the microwave" and D says it takes less than 3 minutes?
The stimulus says that it takes "three minutes to pop corn in the microwave" and D says it takes less than 3 minutes? So, why is D correct. less than 3 minutes is not necessarily three minutes.

You asked how (D) can be correct when it says "less than three minutes." However, notice that (D) actually says "three minutes or less," so it is inclusive of that which takes three minutes. Therefore, it is inclusive of microwave popcorn.
