Hi @shaase,Thanks for the question! So let’s see if L or T can perform at 6. Let’s start off with L performing at 6. Well then we know that P has to perform at 12 (based on the first rule). Which means that G, H, Q, and T can fill the other performances at 8 and 10. But we know that based on the second rule, G and H can’t perform at the same time, since G performs before H. So G performs at 8 and H performs at 10. But now take a look at the third rule: if any rock group performs at 10, no folk group does. The only groups that can perform with H now are rock groups though, and H is a folk group. So L can’t perform at 6.
Now let’s see what happens if T performs at 6. Again, P has to perform at 12. What does this leave us with? G, H, Q, and L to fill the remaining four slots. Now we know that T is a rock band and it’s at 6, which means that based on the last rule, Q can’t perform at 8. So Q performs at 10. And again, H has to perform at 10 because it goes after G. But then again, since Q is a rock group, it can’t perform with H. So this is impossible, and T can’t work at 6.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

I'm still confused as to why T is not the answer. I read your explanation over and over again. What am I missing? You said Q can't preform with H. But how would Q be preforming with H if it is on different stages? I think the rule "preforming at 10" messes me up. Could you explain differently please.JadeKassab July 21, 2021
So if Q is at 10 (south), and G is at 10 (north), could that not work because Q is a rock group and G is folk? Is this why T is incorrect?
