What wrong with B? Is the language too broad that we aren't told what his most important achievement was? It seemed better than E because it was more broad, more of a summary.

It would’ve been better if the answer choice was flipped and said “in addition to showing links between African American art and other art in the Americas, Porter’s most important achievement was illustrating the links between African American art and African artisanship.” Also, even the part about “other art in the Americas” doesn’t exactly match up with the end of the passage, which links African American Art and Western art in general, which is more than just the Americas (for example, Europe). For these reasons, (B) is incorrect.
