Hi @Alec,Thanks for the question! Yeah, this one is definitely tricky. And actually, the key to it doesn’t even lie in the “most” part. Remember that on the LSAT, “most” means “at least 51%, and possibly all.” So we can’t get to (E) based on the “most” statement. You did diagram that correctly, however, it’s diagrammed as
Artist —Most—> Hold political views less insightful than those of any reasonably well-educated person who’s not an artist
But we can’t conclude, based on the above, that
A <—some—> ~Less insightful
The key to this question is actually in the end, when we’re told that artistic talent and political insight are “rarely” found together. This implies that they are actually found together (because you can’t say something “rarely” happens if it never happens); in other words, they are sometimes found together. And if they’re sometimes found together, then we can infer that some artists are no less politically insightful than some reasonably well-educated persons who aren’t artists. It’s kind of a weird conclusion to jump to in my opinion, but LSAC wrote the question, not me, and the other answer choices are clearly wrong, so (E) is supposed to be the best of them.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

@Shunhe, I know you didn't write this question but I'm still confused about it. We just learned in the Quantifier lesson that you can't just reverse and negate a most statement into a some statement. You just confirmed that, but some of the other LSAT teacher's responses directly contradict that and say that you can get negate and reverse to "Some artists are no less insightful..." I don't understand what to do with these statements now because of all of the conflicting points. Can you please explain this discrepancy? Also, why would artistic talent and political insight occurring together make it must be true that some artists are no less politically insightful than some reasonably well-educated persons who are not artists? Does everyone with artistic talent have to be an artist? Must it be true that the only time that political insight and artistic talent occur together is within artists that are no less insightful? Wouldn't E technically be a could be true answer but doesn't have to be true because we only know about the artists who hold political views that are less insightful but are not told anything in the stimulus to know about the others that could be no less politically insightful? Please let me know what you think because this has come up in a few questions with "most" statements.
