Thanks for the question! Yup, that’s pretty much it. The way we can figure that out is to look carefully at what the argument is trying to argue and what it concludes. This whole argument is about women, and the conclusion is about how there aren’t many income-earning women who have preschool-age children but aren’t the sole income earners for their families. We’re not making conclusions about men at all, so the men who are sole income earners are irrelevant. It’s fine in this reasoning to ignore them for that reason, and so (E) isn’t going to be a problem with the reasoning.
