O in First Scenario
In the video explanation, the solver left O as a potential option for spot 6. Can't we eliminate O as a possibility for spot 6 since there is already an O in spot 4 and there is only one O specified in the local rules for this question?
I'm just wondering if there is a particular reason or advantage to why O was left as an option for spot 6

Yes, that is a valid and helpful deduction. Great job! Since this particular question specifies there is only one O and we have already placed it in spot 4 in the first scenario, we can replace the binary option of O/G in spot 6 with G.
There is no particular reason/advantage to leaving O as an option for spot 6. It was probably done so in the video out of concern for consistency with the diagram from our original set-up in an attempt to clarify the explanation.
Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions.
