Why did you use the hypothetical from question 3 to answer question 5? How did you know to use that hypothetical, as opposed to any other one that was created?

You can use a scenario from a question with a local rule for other questions as long as that local rule could still be true. However, don't use scenarios from general questions without local rules. That scenario was useful because it already showed a similar situation to what we are trying to maximize.
