Last Question in regards to which slots must be green

For the last question one of combinations was: G P G O P G G is in slots 1, 3, and 6. Within the question it asks which set is a COMPLETE and accurate list of the cars each of which must be green. If there are three green cars, then wouldn't it be accurate to have three options? Without a third option, I do not understand how it can be deemed a COMPLETE list. Thank you!

Hi @lexiw,

Thanks for the question! Look carefully at what we are making a complete and accurate list of. We are making a complete and accurate list of the cars that must be green. Now, is it true that cars 1, 3, and 6 all must be green in every scenario? Well, cars 1 and 3 certainly must be green. But does car 6 have to be green? Actually, no, car 6 can also be purple. Consider: GPGOGP. So while you can’t make a scenario where cars 1 and 3 aren’t green, you can make one where car 6 isn’t green. So car 6 doesn’t have to be green, and shouldn’t be added to this list.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
