I would also appreciate an explanation of why answer E is incorrect!

Thank you in advance!

Why do a lot of these comments go unanswered? Is there a better way to receive explanations?

Same here, E was very misleading to me. I was stuck between B and E.

Hi,

In (E), the tenant refuses an offer to exchange one thing for another on the grounds that accepting the offer would create more work (in other words, it would pose a hardship) for her.

This is not a perfect match for the passage, which is better reflected in B. The Oneida leaders chose to reject the deal on the grounds that changing the treaty may jeopardize their future claims based on the treaty.

The rationale for rejection in E is not similar to that in the passage.
