Clarification
Hi,
I would like to know if the point of disagreement on this question is the fact that one author believes that the novels are the only sources of understanding the character development , while the other speaker states that the short stories also provide so?
Or have I misunderstood the said matter.

I dont think the author thinks novels are the only source, but rather the best way to depict gradual changes, while the other thinks that short stories are better because they are more faithful to how we experience people.
