Why is E the correct answer?

In the text, it says "or may underestimate the weight of defense testimony that is not delivered in a sufficiently forceful or persuasive manner." It never mentions that the jury may overestimate the weight of a testimony, like answer choice E says.

Hi @Athanbasius,

You are correct that the text does say that, but in that same sentence just preceding that, it also discusses overestimating in the context of photographic evidence. Because the author does not explicitly use the word "overestimate" it may not be as apparent at first, but the implication of:

"...a jury may give MORE probative weight than objective analysis would allow to...(photographic evidence of wounds)"

...is what the answer choice is addressing. The manner in which evidence is presented to a jury may influence the jury to "overestimate" the value of that evidence is illustrated by the example of a photo of a wound.

Hope this helps! Feel free to follow up if you have anymore questions.
