Explain B please.

I got it down to B and C and ultimately chose correctly. I clearly see why C is correct, but could someone explain exactly what makes B wrong? I know it is wrong I just can’t quantify it and would love some help. Thank you

Hi @CWhite,

Thanks for the question! So we’re trying to call into question the psychologists’ interpretation of the experiments with children. (B) says we can do this by saying that experiments with older children found that they were as accurate as adults in identifying their thoughts. But so what? Remember, the original purpose of the experiment was about showing that humans don’t know what they’re thinking intrinsically, they have to learn it inductively. So this doesn’t question the interpretation, and must be wrong.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
