Finding conclusion

On this one and the ones before, I am having a difficult time finding the conclusion of the passages. I just cannot distinguish between the premise and conclusion.

Hi @Tiffanysara,

Thanks for the question! Figuring out the difference can be hard. But really, what matters is figuring out which statements support which. Conclusions are supported by the premises, and premises are just assertions that can stand on their own and are not being backed up by others. So if you feel like something is just being claimed as a fact, for example, that would be a premise. Whereas if something follows from another sentence, it’s a conclusion of some kind. You then need to ask whether it’s an intermediate conclusion or the main conclusion. Definitely keep working on the Main Point module to get this point down! It’s a bit hard at first, but very important for other questions as well. For example, you can’t do a “weakness” question until you find out what the conclusion of the argument you’re weakening is!

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
