No x is Y

In A it says, "No marsupial lays eggs." How is that Marsupial --> Eggs. Aren't we supposed to pick a sufficient and negate the necessary?

Thanks for the question! You’re right, that was diagrammed incorrectly, our bad. You do pick a sufficient and negate the necessary. So it should’ve been diagrammed

Marsupial —> ~Eggs

or

Eggs —> ~Marsupial
