Finding the conclusion
Hello LSAT Max,
I was having trouble finding the conclusion of the argument. I thought it was the first sentence but I read previous threads that said that the last sentence is the conclusion. How is that so?

Thanks for the question! So you want to think about the ways in which the statements link together and what exactly the person is driving for. I would personally think about it as the conclusion not being in the stimulus, but instead being an implied conclusion. Essentially, we’re being told the following:
P1: The high cost of production is limiting the available operas. P2: The costs require relying on corporate sponsors, and they want famous operas. P3: Determining opera productions should depend only on ticket purchasers. P4: If we reduce production budgets, the public will be able to see less famous operas.
So what’s the recommendation here? Well, clearly, the author doesn’t like the limitation of available operas. So what the author is really arguing for here is to reduce the production budgets! That’s what I would say the conclusion is.
Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
