Based on passage B, which one of the following is a characteristic of some "games that are intentionally commodified"...

Further explanation for A?

Lines 52-55 state "By contrast, tax doctrine and policy counsel taxation of the sale of virtual items for real currency, and, in games that are intentionally commodified, of in-world sales for virtual currency." Would this "in-world sakes for virtual currency not align with answer choice A? This was my reasoning for this answer choice. Can someone please explain why this doesn't support answer choice A or why it is wrong? Thank you!

Hi @caydencemarley,

Thanks for the question! So those lines discuss “in-world sales for virtual currency.” (A) discusses selling REAL items for virtual currency. “In-world” refers to the game world; in other words, selling items in the game, for money in the game. So that’s not the same thing as selling real items for virtual currency, which is why (A) is incorrect.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
