Which one of the following statements most accurately characterizes a difference between the two passages?

"could be inferred from the passage"

What is the logical equivalent of the question stem that prompts you to figure out "what could be inferred from the passage"? I assumed it would mean "could be true", but the flash cards seem to say otherwise. Thanks!

Same Question!!

Hi @ponyo and @Sarah-Michelle-Olivo,

Thanks for the question! If the passage is asking you what could be inferred, don’t be fooled by the words “could be.” If it’s asking for an inference, or what could be one, it’s a Must Be True. That’s how the LSAT uses the word “inference.”

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
