Compound sentences

Hello, I had low wages and high stress condition mapped as one thing instead of having it in a compound statement as is in the video. although it didn't create a problem in getting the question right but can it become a problem if I diagram a compound statement wrongly in other questions? How do we know when to put the variables together and when to create compound statements?

Hi @sangagul1234ah@gmail.com198,

Thanks for the question! There are some questions where it will be quite confusing if you don’t diagram the compound out. Those are ones where you have to take the contrapositive of a conditional statement with compounds (or, in general, when you have to negate a compound). So in general, it’s best to err on the side of making compound statements, though sometimes it will certainly be fine not to do so.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
