Conclusion to the Zoo Director

I am having trouble understanding how is " cutting City Zoo's funding in half, is false economy is the main conclusion. I thought when it says "Furthermore, the zoo which must close if its budget is cut. I need more clarification

Thanks for the question! So remember, the main conclusion will be supported by all the other premises, and itself not support any other statements. “Furthermore” seems to signal that it’s just another premise, since it’s basically a fancy way of saying “and also.” And the zoo having to close if its budget is cut helps support the conclusion, that cutting its funding would be false economy.
