the max for one city is 4

this is a simple question, why is the max for one city a total of 4 days? there is no rule that implies this rule, therefore the could spend 10 days in in the city of nomo in x and it should not be an issue

Hi @May-Salah,

Happy to help!

We know that Hannah spends 14 days in six cities. Rule 4 tells us that Hannah spends at least two days in each city she visits.

City #1 - Days 1 and 2
City #2 - Days 3 and 4
City #3 - Days 5 and 6
City #4 - Days 7 and 8
City #5 - Days 9 and 10

Therefore, if Hannah spends the minimum amount of time in each of the other five cities, then she can only spend a maximum of four days in Nomo.

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi @May-Salah,

Thanks for the question! Recall that there are a total of 6 cities. Hannah has to visit EXACTLY six cities in 14 days. And she has to spend at least two days in each city. If she spent 10 days in one city, she could only visit 3 cities. And if you keep doing the math out, you realize she can spend at most 4 days in one city.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Thank you @Shunhe & @Victoria, I was wondering the exact same thing. This is a very very confusing problem to have as the first one in testing our knowledge. Or maybe it's just too late and my brain is overtired and I've been studying too much this past holiday weekend. Thanks for the well explained responses.

This is one of the most unusual games out there; it definitely qualifies as a "lost boys" game. I'd be patient with games like this, as their uniqueness can take some getting used to.
