Disappointed in LSAT Max

The videos for these games are bare minimum and it really shows. First off, if the answer is A or B, the explainer will not explain why the other scenarios are conflicting and barely describes why the answer is correct! NO EXPLANATION OR LAYOUT. They simply state "it's because of this" in such a way that gives me no additional information that is helpful and instead it would be helpful if they said here is why it is right and why the other is wrong.

I really wish Mehran gave the explanation for this game. He's just a great teacher and explains everything in detail every time. On question #17, the instructor showed the set-up, which was the same thing I had set up, and then she just said, "I want you to notice Rule #6, without giving any clue as to her thinking process that prompted her to jump from revising the set-up to looking at rule 6. 'How' am I supposed to know that I'm to jump to rule number 6? Also, at the beginning when she was drawing the set-up, she pointed out a key deduction that Maricella and Shigeru were always together. What in her thinking process told her this was a key deduction. How am I to know what to look for as far as making key deductions. I feel like she just told us the answer without breaking down the thinking process. That's what I need to learn. How to approach these games and how to know what to look for as far as key deductions go.
