What is the difference between this argument question stem and one that asks about main point?
I think I understood how to answer this question, but it appeared to be a main point question that also acted as an argument structure question? Can you elaborate on what makes them similar/different?

You are correct! This question was phrased like an argument structure question but asked you to focus on the role played by the main point/conclusion.
The strategy behind answering argument structure and main point questions is relatively similar. You need to have an understanding of how all the parts of the argument fit together i.e. which part(s) of the argument are premises, conclusions, etc.
Where they differ is their focus. Main point questions are always focused on the conclusion of the stimulus whereas argument structure questions can focus on any part of the stimulus.
Understanding the role played by all statements in the stimulus and how they interact with one another will set you up for success regardless of which type of question you are ultimately answering.
Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
