Q2-- Right answer but were my methods correct?
What's odd is that I got the question right by treating "those who" as "people who" to invoke the sufficient condition.
So my diagram is:
Participate in Local Politics ---> General Interest in Public Service & Selfish Oppurtunist
Participate in Local Politics ---> Interest in Community Values
I did the contrapositive and break down of the first and got:
GIPS or SO ---> PLP
PLP--->GIPS
PLP--->SO
My notes say that "all" statements can be reversed to "some" assuming the sufficient exists. So I reversed both "PLP--->GIPS" and "PLP--->SO" and went through the motions and ultimately got answer I was looking for which was the right answer. Did I do too many steps?
