Either/Or in Rules in Game Inconsistent with What We're Taught

Hi all! I am hoping that someone could clarify why there seems to be a contradiction between what we are taught in the Sufficient & Necessary Conditions lessons vs. what the conditional rule states in the game set up video for the fourth rule. For example: In the game, the rule states: Whenever either J or W is exhibited, S cannot be exhibited. According to the Sufficient & Necessary Condition lesson, we would diagram this by: #1 picking a variable and making it the necessary condition. In this case I would pick S #2 pick the other variable, negate it, and make it sufficient. So, we would be left with: ~J or ~W ---> S The contrapositive would be: ~S ---> J & W However, the video game setup says it should be: J or W ---> ~S The contrapositive: S ---> J & W Thanks.

I also have the same question. I appreciate any assistance with this!

I'm having trouble with this as well. B) was crossed off because J and S were exhibited together, but D) has W and S together, which would also be incorrect with how I set up my conditional. :(

Ahhh. So the J/W--> ~S condition was specific to the exhibition: they can be in a cage together, but not exhibited together. Dunno if that helps, but that resolved the discrepancy for me
