Basic General Question about Strengthen w/ Sufficient v Neccessary

What are key word indicators in the question stem that differentiate between a strengthen with Sufficient v strengthen w/ Necessary? As I'm going through these questions, if they were not organized by each part of the lesson, I'd have a real struggle knowing exactly what I'm looking for. Please help clarify :)

Hey Jacob! I may not have totally understood your question in its entirety, so ignore me if that's the case!

I initially struggled with discerning if the question was a st. with sufficient or necessary.

My trick is if the question stem is asking something that in simpler terms asks, "what does this argument depend on?" Common stems are along the lines of the following: "what assumption does this depend/require one to assume/which is assumed/assumes which..."

As for sufficient, I determine it is st with sufficient when I primarily see two things in the question stem: 1) "IF"/"PERMIT", and 2) it basically asks, "what's gotta be true below in order for this to make sense/be logic?" Common stem examples are: "follows if one assumes..."/"permit the conc. to be drawn"/"if which is true"

I struggle the most with st w/s and n on the LSAT in total and honestly, the best way to distinguish the stems, is answering the questions repeatedly I've been doing 10 a day (5 of each) the last couple of weeks, and it's really helping

***My trick is for determining if it is st. with nec. is reviewing the q. stem to see if it is basically asking the following: "what does this argument depend on?" Some common stem examples are as follows: "what assumption does this depend/require one to assume/which is assumed/assumes which..."

Also, I'm all for the tips and tricks that make things easier/always take that route when it's available, which I've done in other studying capacities for this test, but unfortunately, taking the time to identify/recognize the stems has proven the only/most efficient way for me to improve in identifying and responding
