Why C and not B
I chose B because I thought that both the stimulus and B have to go with a whole -> part fallacy (group that X is a part of is Y in general, so X must be Y)

The difference is that b has an all, but c has a some. B doesn't actually have a part to whole flaw. If we know that I am part of a group, and every member of the group has a characteristic, then I do indeed have that characteristic. However, if as is the case in C and the passage, only some members of the group have that characteristic, then it is not guaranteed that I have it as a member of the group.
