Which one of the following most accurately describes the author's attitude toward the conclusions that Olsen reaches?

Why not A?
I chose A because i knew the author was in some way "for" the author. and as mentioned there was no criticism i chose A. can you explain why A is wrong and for questions like these how to we distinguish between answer choices that are similar (in this case A and B).

I made the same mistake- for me, it was confusion between the two verbs. While advocating and endorsing both mean believing in something, they're both different actions. Advocate is more similar to pleading in favor of something while endorse is more similar to just giving approval.
