Between C and D

I was able to narrow the answer choices down to C and D. What ultimately helped me choose the correct answer was noticing the broad “airline crashes” and “commercial plane crashes”. Hopefully I can do this at a faster pace with more practice.

Hi Brandy,
Good work spotting an important difference there. Remember that for necessary assumption questions (or strengthen with necessary premise questions) we have the powerful tool of the negation test. If the negated version of the answer option ruins the argument, then it is the correct option (because the normal, non-negated form is required for the argument to function).
