Logic Games - Linear Games : Game #3 Question 4.

The question is : Which one of the following could be an accurate partial ordering of the foods added to the broth? My inquiry is: Why can't it be the answer (B) Mushrooms: fourth; Lentils : last ? In the video, you've mentioned that since mushroom is placed in fourth, tomato and kale cannot fit in later numbers, so (B) is a wrong choice. However, my understanding is that mushrooms are added at some time before the tomatoes or the kales, but not before both. So either tomato or kales must be before mushrooms. So (B) can also be the right answer?

Hi Rikuto, our apologies for the late response.
Here's our chain of inferences to see why B can't be correct.
If we plug in B, we get
_ _ _ M _ L

By rule 4 we know that we have to have T-M-K or K-M-T. So therefore either K or T would have to be in 5 because it is the only spot open after M. However, neither K or T can go in 5 based on rule 3. Therefore, B is not possible.
