First sentence

The first sentence is not a conclusion because it has no support? And are we saying the conclusion is flawed because I didn't pick the correct answer because the premise already said that it was present "often" which equals "some'.

Hi @ryn, you're correct that the first sentence is not a conclusion, it's more of a general principle that sets up the argument. The conclusion is indeed flawed, we are told that formal instruction is OFTEN part of a good education, therefore we MUST give children formal instruction. The authors concludes what must be on the basis of what sometimes is.
