Q18 at approx 39:00 into the lesson

I understand from the hypothetical posed in Q18 that if O joins the firm before M, then we diagram the hypo as follows: H - N - O - M / K - J But why are G and I not accounted for? And, if they are to included in the diagram, would it look like this? H - N - O - M / K - J - G - I Oh! I think I see why...G and I have no relationship to M. Correct?

Ugh...to whoever may look at my above diagram, please disregard it. The spacing is off on K and J and G and I. They were supposed to appear under the M. Regardless, I believe that I answered my own question...G and I don't factor into the answer because they have no relationship to M.

Hey @Jennifer,

G and I are things that appear later, so when we're trying to figure out the EARLIEST place M can go, G and I won't affect that, as they come after. The only thing we're worried about is who needs to be BEFORE M. So it's not that G and I don't factor into the diagram, of course they do! It's just that we don't really need to worry about where they are when we're trying to determine M's earliest position.

Hope this helps!
