The word "must"

In previous videos it was said the word "must" introduces a necessary condition. In the video explanation, she writes the statement as: Not IP10% -> B I am confused. Wouldn't it be the other way around?

This is regarding the first sentence.

She diagrammed the contrapositive of the statement. The original statement should read, "not bankrupt-->IP10%" In other words, if the company is not to go bankrupt, then it must increase productivity by at least 10% over the course of the next two years." Her statement is logically equivalent, as it's the contrapositive. Hope this helps!

I understand that she diagrammed the contrapositive, but what about the word "must"? Does the word "must" introduce a necessary or sufficient condition (as the previous video said it introduces a necessary condition)? Or it different in this question stimulus because of the either/or (so you can choose which to make the necessary)?

Hi, must does indeed indicate a necessary condition. It shows that this thing is needed to occur for another thing to occur, so it is necessary.
