If K no G?

Where in the instructions does it say (if K no G)? I only see (if G no K).

For this question, we are told that F and G are out. You are right that there is not a rule saying if K then Not G. The only rule we have linking K and G is that If G then K. We can diagram as

If G - K

and its contrapositive as

If Not K - Not G.

Since in this case we know that K is out, we know from the contrapositive that G is also out.

If F, G, and K are all out, then the only two tenants left are J and M, so both J and M are in. Since M is in, our last rule tells us that P must be out. Since there are only two tenants (M and J) and three landlords (Q, R, and S), we know that one of the two tenants must be the chair.
