Why B wrong?
Could someone explain why B is wrong? If the worst pan with a warranty preforms as good as the best pan without one how does that not strengthen ? That would mean all pans with warranty’s are as good or better than all pans without. The inverse is that all pans without a warranty are only as good or worse.

If we accept B as true, then we know that all warranty pans are at least as good as the non-warranty pans at the time of purchase. This does not mean that they are better than those without a warranty, only that they are not worse. More importantly, they are only as good at the time of purchase. There are two considerations in the argument, that the pans work well, and last long. B offers some considerations that the pans work well, but tell us nothing about if the pans last long. Perhaps the warranty pans break after 6 months?
